International Guitar Festival
Puy-lʼÉvêque - July
Now in its fourth year, this magnificent festival (which takes place at the theatre directly opposite us!) hosts a range of genres and internationally-renowned guitarists.
It also celebrates local vineyards and invites visitors to sample local wines after concerts.

Voted one of France's most beautiful villages

The medieval town of Saint-Cirq Lapopie, with thirteen listed historic buildings, is one of the most beautiful villages in France. Perched on a cliff three hundred feet above the river Lot, St. Cirq Lapopie is one of the most important sites in the Lot Valley.

Padirac Cave (Le Gouffre de Padirac)

The Gouffre de Padirac, the most famous cave in Europe, is considered as one of the most interesting geological sites in France. After a vertiginous descent, by lift or stairs, of 103 metres, you embark on a boat trip along the subterranean river with spectacular views on the galleries. That's when you discover the "Grande Pendeloque" - a gigantic stalactite of 60 metres high - hanging by a string, it appears to admire itself in the "Lac de la Pluie". You then walk towards the "Lac des Gours" or the "Salle du Grand Dôme" with its 94 metres high vault.
